A#2 Still Life

This is a photo of one of my favorite books along with a pocket watch and an empty mug. In this still life I was going for "time is a luxury we don't have" because the mug is empty and books are a luxury to me. I like the colors in this picture even though it's a little dark, it works with the idea.

My other Still Life picture (the open book with watch) is in the display in the front of the school.

A#1 Scavenger Hunt

This is a picture of a satellite dish at the school. The reason I took this picture is because of the shapes and the value. The shadow also made this picture ten times better with the lights and darks it has.

My other picture (of the converse) is in the display in the front of the school.

Troubleshooting

1.) I found it a lot easier to go through the developing process overall, it goes by really fast.

2.) I'm still having trouble with timing, constantly making sure I am not making any mistakes.

3.) I payed very close attention and some of my photos have amazing lighting, some not so much.

4.) I adjusted everything pretty well, but some photos were some what out of focus, a majority were good, though.

Response to Mrs. Digiacomo's Blog Post:

The most exiting thing about photography so far is probably taking the pictures, and seeing if they turn out after using the chemicals in the bat cave. I had a really fun time looking at different things to capture and using the Principles of Designs, it helped me look at a new perspective in photography.

The most difficult thing so far is probably developing the film in the bat cave. It takes a lot of time and precision, and rolling it can be difficult because it has to be just right, or else your photos won't turn out.
