Ph1 - Scavenger Hunt and Studio Portrait

I preferred digital over film because you have the ability to use trail and error to create a satisfying image, whereas in film, its almost as if you have to be lucky to make a great image.

The background in this photo of the dry grass sets the time of day and creates beautiful contrast with the pale grass.

This portrait was my favorite because as Shiwa was just posing in all different ways she then struck this adorable pose and the lighting was just right.

Ph1 - Photoshop Experiments

The tools I used in photoshop to create this picture were: Masking tool, B&W tool, layers, and motion blur.
This photo expresses my love for music.

Ph1 - 35mm Light/Shadow and People

I composed this picture by having a low lighting and shooting from an interesting angle  so you can only see the subjects hands playing.

I composed this picture by having a studio light angled at one side of the subject so their shadow casts upon the wall next to her.

Ph1 - Panning - DSLR

I printed a panning picture with the shutter speed of 1/100.
This created a subtle blur in the background to show the motion in this picture.

Ph1 - Lighting - DSLR

I chose this picture because the lighting makes it so you don't know what you're looking at, which adds to the mystery of the photo and leaves it open to interpretation.
